FileRose is an example of an illegal file locker site that has happily set up it’s site with no regard for the intellectual property of others. As such there is a load of pirate software, videos, games, movies and more to download from this site. Unfortunately there is a considerable amount of extreme and sickening child pornography hosted by FileRose.
UPDATE: 6th July 2012 FileRose have had their Paypal accounts terminated. All funds have been frozen for 180 days and in that time they cannot withdraw or transfer funds. They may no longer process any payments through Paypal.
UPDATE: 8th July 2012 FileRose started accepting Paypal again by replacing their old terminated Paypal account with a new one. This has also now been terminated. All funds have been frozen for 180 days and in that time they cannot withdraw or transfer funds. They may no longer process any payments through Paypal. Every time a file locker replaces their old payment method with a new one we will work to shut it down.
UPDATE: 8th July 2012 FileRose have added LiqPay as a payment option. We will be working with Visa and Mastercard to have this merchant relationship terminated.
UPDATE: 9th July 2012 FileRose have resumed using Paypal. We have reported this to Paypal and are hoping for a quick resolution.

FileRose offers uploaders generous incentives to upload popular content to it’s file locker site. Below is a screenshot from a popular forum detailing their offer to entice illicit uploads.
In order to make money, the site offers premium memberships via Paypal in order to provide users with unrestricted and high speed downloads.
The incentives offered to uploaders seem to work as we have found many examples of pirate software made available on the site.
There’s more than you could ever download.
Sickeningly searching Google reveals links to many files hosted by Filerose which purport to be extreme child pornography. Downloading (or uploading) child pornography is illegal and you could be jailed for doing so.
We are working to have all payment processing for FileRose terminated and we also call upon the US Department of Justice to seize the domain name and relevant policing authorities to arrest and charge the operator of FileRose with child exploitation offences.

Not for long they wont be, we are working with Mastercard and Visa to close their account down. Thanks for the heads up but our team are working on this one. We will hit them hard every time they come up with a new payment source.

Not for long, they are obviously setting up falsified Paypal accounts as they were terminated before, once terminated you can’t just go and set up another account.

Having a bad temper can raise your blood pressure and if kept unchecked for the long term can be harmful.
I’d suggest some kind of anger management therapy, I hear it works really well. Otherwise, take a walk in a nice park, go kick a football, play a game of squash, all good things to work off those frustrations you obviously have.

2- File Hosting is a Legal Business every one know it and only the Uploaders are responsible for the Uploaded Material but you are trying to shut down the File Hosts not the Uploaders.

Obviously we do not upload anything to file lockers, the mere suggestion is ludicrous.
However it is interesting to see people get so fired up over this, the blood pressure in some of these people is at boiling point.

This is typical of the type of psychopath that we deal with constantly at Stop File Lockers.
Each day we get dozens of death threats, abuse, false accusations and character assassination messages.
We won’t publish them all, however this guy is interesting as he has launched DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attacks over recent days.
Unfortunately for him he has left some fingerprints and we hope that he is arrested soon. He really should learn to hide his tracks much better than he has.

I hope Megaupload comeback! Megaupload was hosting the media, but not the actual provider, meaning they didn’t download or source the media, but hosted a site that “portals” to the link. This was clear & obvious when “LimeWire” was forced to shutdown. They directly allowed sourcing & hosting to happen in the same place. Megaupload just provided a place where these types of media could be found easily, but their main purpose was to provide a “cloud” based service to store data. I’ve lost a lot of “DJ Paks” & info that was uploaded legally on Megaupload’s servers, that are now stuck in limbo, yet the government doesn’t acknowledge or even know about other file-sharing sites! What ignorance!
You should have used Dropbox then as Megaupload deliberately profited from piracy, it was an integral part of their business model.
