It should be noted that both freakshare.com and bitshare.com have backup payment processing with Digital River and are currently using Avangate.
Avangate has become the new go to payment processor for infringing file lockers. The number of file lockers they process payments for increases every week. This is no doubt going to attract the interest of other parties with whom Avangate have relationships.
Avangate’s decision to harbour the infringing file locker industry raises it’s risk profile to a very high level and shows absolute contempt for it’s existing software publisher customer base who have their products pirated on file lockers that Avangate process payments for.
NOTES Copy Control does not claim responsibility for these or any other Paypal terminations. Many organisations work to deal with infringing sites. Some of these sites may have been reported earlier then re-reported as they continued to process with Paypal. This information is current at the time of publication and is subject to change.

I am amazed by the fact that you actually think Americans make up the majority of the uploader community (referring to your comments in GFY); this clearly shows that in contrary to what you claim, you know NOTHING about the uploading scene. Sorry to burst your bubble but in contrary to what you really like to believe, the majority of Americans neither are smart and/or brave enough to try making money from uploading copyrighted material, nor do they have the necessary searching, coding, etc skills. 99% of the uploading scene is consisted of people living in 3rd world countries, mostly people from India (huge percentage), Middle East, south east Asia, eastern Europe and South America; Americans are only smart enough to consume, not provide.
P.S. This is coming from someone who has been in the uploading business for years, made thousands of dollars from Megaupload (which was taken down) by posting links in TVshack (whose admin is caught and is fighting extradition right now) and Surfthechannel (whose admins are in jail), and will continue to do so until idiots like you go out of business. Too bad the US government can only catch the “middlemen” since the actual uploaders, like me, live in places they have no jurisdiction whatsoever.
Coming from an upload monkey posting links to mostly American movies and TV shows, argument about Americans not being able to provide holds some merit indeed.
Why Hotfile is still working forever. It is the biggest file locker ever and still survive! With Paypal available! Can’t believe it!
Are you really sure that’s the question you want an answer to?
Hotfile is not an attractive cyberlocker for pirates, and it hasn’t been for years. This is because they terminate all infringing accounts, with all their contents, from just a single DMCA take-down request.
Why you’re even bringing this up here is beyond me..
Ahh the poor little file hosts who are being bullied because they do not have the resources to fight a legal battle. I shed a tear over my keyboard thinking about their plight.
The collapse of file locker sites is so entertaining, I have to check out WJunction everyday just to get my fix. Uploaders moaning about being scammed and desperately searching for the next host never gets tiring.
Keep up the good work AK.
“Americans are only smart enough to consume, not provide.”
And kelso & Camelot are only smart enough to steal, not create.
Arrogant prick.
