More Payment Processors terminate infringing web sites.

by Editor on October 4, 2012

A whole bunch of sites have lost their Paypal, 2Checkout, Moneybookers/Skrill and Payza/Alertpay accounts since our last update on 14th September.

spicyfile.com

ultramegabit.com

Of particular interest in this list is JustCloud.com and UltraMegaBit.com

Don’t think that dressing your site up to look like a professional cloud storage site will protect you from action, if you’re hosting a large amount of infringing content without adequate measures in place to mitigate that then we’re going to take a close look at your business.

UltraMegaBit.com is of particular interest, this site can expect some very close attention going forward and we’ll have a lot more about to say about them over time.

NOTES Copy Control does not claim responsibility for these or any other Paypal terminations. Many organisations work to deal with infringing sites. Some of these sites may have been reported earlier then re-reported as they continued to process with Paypal. This information is current at the time of publication and is subject to change.

Why don’t you do something for Rapidshare?? Are they too big for you?

We are working on building a case surrounding a number of larger files hosts.

Yes do something for Rapidshare also. They are the biggest file host left now after megaupload, filesonic and fileserve.

Check warez-bb and you will see all the warez stuff posting in rapidshare links. how come rapidshare is not doing anything to block their users account who are sharing copyright material all over the net. You know this is not a justice.
Paypal blocked every filehost account including netload account now but they haven’t blocked RS account yet. why?

They’re not blocking accounts of the repeat infringers because they love all these premium membership sales generated by warez-bb uploaders. And unfortunately not all hosts were terminated by Paypal yet, there are several that are still pending termination, such as BS and FS.

Instead of complaining you can join Robert’s team of volunteers and start helping the fight.

Paypal is the very least of the worries that will end up troubling Hotfile.

Probably because unlike a lot of the smaller filelockers,
RS has a lot of lawyers and aren’t afraid to use them.
They’ve slowed down their download speeds for free users,
and also recently had another massive round of account closings.

I’m sure Editor will pop in with something smarmy to say,
but I couldn’t care either way.

Just passing along info.

RS is a scammy thieving host which raped pretty much every producer of the original content in the world, without exceptions. It will go down in smokes soon, that’s all you need to know freetard.

Mikey Dawber:

That’s what I thought too. If I remember correctly RS managed to win a Copyright case earlier.
Besides I think what SFL trying to do is pointless. When you almost close a file host there will be a new one created in the next day. This is a never-ending process.

Quite opposite is pointless freetard – creating hosts to only have them killed next day.
